The inclined dowels and the locking device are machined into the panels at the factory. The lock keeps the panels from separating, so assembly is easy and fail-safe and the joints stay strong.

THREE PARTS. NO FASTENERS.
Every joint in a Euromaster cabinet is machined, not fastened. Three components do the work:
Wooden dowel: Precision-milled dowels set the alignment. Panels meet on the dowel line and seat themselves square, so there is nothing to measure and nothing to adjust.
Pinlock: A spring-loaded locking device engages as the panels close. Once seated, it holds the joint under tension and keeps the panels from separating.
Rotalock: Locks the back panel into the carcase. This squares the cabinet and gives the box its rigidity, a job traditional cabinets give to screws and brackets.
There are no screws, glue, or specialized tools. The panels lock into place and stay there.

The mechanical lock pulls the joint tight and holds it square, and it is designed to stay that way for the life of the cabinet.
